Roger Shipton

Consultant & Co-Founder

Starting his career in increasingly senior HR roles, Roger is also experienced in executive coaching, organisational/change management, psychometrics, and linking HR strategies to business plans. In 1986 he moved into management consultancy with KPMG. He helped to build the business of Career Consulting into one of the major UK players with an outstanding reputation for quality. He established and headed the business' organisation practice, which became the pre-eminent downsizing specialist, as well as counselling scores of senior managers on outplacement and career management programmes.

He became a Partner and CC Ltd’s first MD. In 1997 he was a co-founder of ARA consulting with Andy Andrews, an HR strategy and organisational change organisation. His work has included a European restructuring to establish a shared service centre and M&A activities to provide high quality organisations. He has diversified to work in the NFP sector and since 2001 has supported many senior clients as an Associate Director of DBM's IDC.

Roger is part of the AGM consultancy team and is a foremost expert on corporate entry, exit and compromise.
