Eric Peacock

Eric was formerly Chief Executive of Exemplas. He has lived in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Belgium, France, Holland and Ireland whilst developing businesses.

Additionally he has practical experience in Technology Transfer, Brand Licensing, Manufacturing under Licence and Intellectual Property Rights Development, and is an accomplished Strategist and Marketeer.

Eric was a catalyst in the management buy-in to Babygro, the children's clothing provider, and subsequently took that business from £3 million to £21 million and employment of over 1,000 people in a four year period and on to the full Stock Exchange listing as Babygro plc.

Prior to this he was Chief Executive of Hollas plc, with responsibility for seven companies in its Consumer and Industrial Textile operations. During this time he acquired, merged and closed operations to maximise profitability.

He was also Chief Executive of Barbour, the largest company in Lindustries Textile Division, employing over 1,500 people and a Director of Lindustries Textiles Limited, the company's Holding Division for their Textile interests in the UK and overseas.

During the time he was a Director of Lindustries companies in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Belgium, France, Holland, Italy and Ireland, the company ultimately became part of Hanson plc.

Eric is a respected International Speaker on Middle Market and SME issues with Conference and Research papers in high growth UK SMEs, European Business Angel networks, Benchmarking in UK SMEs, UK Business Support Policies, and International Development Support for UK SME's and UK SME Networks in UK,

He has delivered papers on these subjects in UK, Croatia, France, USA, Hungary, South Africa and Germany. He was a Director of Rotary Watches Ltd, UK Switzerland, South Africa and USA and Hospitality Plc, UK and Bahrain.

He was awarded with a CMG for his services to International trade and was recently made Deputy Lieutenant of the county of Hertfordshire.
